This style works well. Strong plastic and top holds vacuum well. Look for the pushbutton on top. All of these work much better than the other versions/designs.

I have had this marinator several months so I cannot comment on the durability of the plastic canister or the seals. I have used it many times to marinate meat. I have noticed that the marinade definately gets deep into the meat, and if you have the right marinade, you’re in for a treat. Marinating even for 24 hours in a zip-loc bag seems to get marinade only into the surface of the meat. So this marinator does exactly what I was hoping it would to. My wife has commented several times about how much better meat tastes after using this, and she is usually not wild about meat. So if durability isn’t an issue in the future, I’d say this is an excellent product.
